LORD OF THE LOST X INFECTED RAIN “Would You Walk With Me Through Hell?” – REVIEW

By Kenny Lenehan

Lord Of The Lost released “Would You Walk With Me Through Hell?” Featuring INFECTED RAIN ON 04/11/2025 via Napalm Records.

This single has caught my eye having been a fan of Lord of the Lost since 2018 and Interviewing Lena Scissorhands back in 2019 this collaboration between the two artists certainly perks my ears.

Two of Napalm Records most exciting alternative metal artists of the last decade collide in what may be an interesting turn of events.

Opening thoughts on  the track (via Official Music Video) things take what could be explained as a dracula inspired turn with the usual Lord Of The Lost garnish with guitars and drums hitting an impactful entrance, a synth arpeggio that has a 8bit vibe sneaks its way under the mix that adds an interesting and satisfying edge to the intro.

Verse 1 sees Chris Harms Vocal enter after being slumped behind a piano, serious goth/halloween vibes here. Guitars stab their way through the verse with synths adding the perfect  touch of melody while retaining the haunting vibe. A distant figure in a veil appears in the music video hinting towards the entrance of Lena Scissorhands… Lena enters the fold with a melodic vocal wearing the aforementioned veil before erupting in her signature vocal attack!

While Chris Harms re-enters establishing the would be connection in both song and situation. Tastefully put together the song and video has a narrative and feels very organic featuring both artists personality and sound. I was a tad sceptical at first but the track and overall theme have been put together very tastefully and reads like a book. The music video is almost a mini movie and really does showcase both artists in a genuine light. Very well done and a chorus that hits differently.

I personally enjoyed Lena Scissorhands clean vocals and approach on how both Chris and Lena vocal parts interact matching the together but not so close theme that runs through the music video. All artists on top form here. I am of course a fan of Lord Of The Lost and I am very familiar with their work, that being said my favorite era of LOTL was the Thornstar album but I am looking forward to OPVS NOIR Vol. 2 and beyond! I didn’t manage to see LOTL on their UK tour this time around but I strongly advise anyone to check out both bands next time they are playing your city!

LORD OF THE LOST have revealed the third single cut from the upcoming new full-length, OPVS NOIR Vol. 2, out on December 12, 2025 via Napalm Records! On “Would You Walk With Me Through Hell?”, LORD OF THE LOST team up with INFECTED RAIN, adding an extra edge to the genre-fluid masters’ opulence. With Lena Scissorhands and Chris Harms, two of the most recognizable singers in the genre meet to create multi-layered soundscapes out of gentle clean vocals, powerful growls, and melancholic moods.

Following the recent success of last month’s co-headline tour with FEUERSCHWANZ, LORD OF THE LOST is currently in the middle of a tour of the UK and Ireland. Next year, the band will tour across the USA, Canada and Australia, before returning to Europe for the recently announced ‘TOVR NOIR 2026’, with shows in 19 countries.

Chris Harms on “Would You Walk With Me Through Hell?”:
“It was a great challenge to create a love song with such a powerful and positive message, yet with such a dark title and an even more sinister instrumental. And working with Lena, her versatile voice and her intense charisma, from the first idea to the final result, was a great journey both musically and personally!”

Lena Scissorhands adds:
“I’m incredibly honored and excited to have been invited to feature on this song with Lord Of The Lost. I loved every minute of working on it, and I think the collaboration turned out very unique and its darkness is just so beautiful. I can’t wait for the world to hear it!”
